Convention Center Facts:

  • The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) is the largest convention center on the West Coast (1.6 million square feet of total space) and currently adding an additional 200,000 square feet of flexible space.
  • It’s summer year-round with 328 days of sunshine a year.
  • The Anaheim Convention Center offers free Wi-Fi to all visitors.
  • 75 restaurants are within walking distance of the convention center.
  • Conveniently located in the ACC lobby is a restaurant reservation kiosk with a full selection of menus for review. Friendly professionals provide complimentary reservation services for exhibitors and attendees alike.

Green and Eco-Friendly Stats

  • There’s a 2,000 square-foot garden with an array of herbs on top of their Arena Box Office. The roof garden supplies Anaheim Convention Center’s food caterer with fresh, tasty herbs including rosemary, thyme, parsley and lavender.
  • The “Green Zone” turns kitchen food scraps into nutrient-rich compost, which is used throughout the Anaheim Resort.
  • 54% of all mixed trash waste is diverted from the landfill every year.
  • The ACC is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified structure, one of the largest convention centers in North America to earn this prestigious distinction.
  • 86% of ongoing consumable purchases, 95% of electronic purchases and 78% of cleaning product purchases meet strict LEED guidelines for sustainability.
  • HVAC Use Policy – Exhibit Hall HVAC is not run while the roll-up doors are open. The HVAC only runs during events. It is turned on one hour before the start of the event then turned off when the event ends.
  • Escalator Operation Policy - Escalators are only turned on for actual event days.
  • Almost 8,000 rooftop solar panels generate an estimated 3.6 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually for the Anaheim Convention Center. That’s enough to power 600 homes for a year!
