Anaheim of today is very different from years past. The center of Anaheim’s visitor industry has undergone a $5 billion transformation and reinvented itself as the Anaheim Resort™ district, 1,100 acre lush urban resort.
More than 150 years ago, German colonists came to the land that is now the city of Anaheim to grow grapes and produce wine. The original purchase price was a mere $2 an acre.
In the center of Southern California is Anaheim, home of the original Disneyland theme park, two professional sports teams and the largest convention center on the West Coast. Anaheim is one of the major cities in Orange County, the region known for its alluring coastal communities, renowned attractions, world-class shopping, surf culture and enviable Southern California lifestyle.
